Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. James is the son of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. His father is Nigerian while his mom is caucasian-American. He graduated in 2010 of Sanderson High School. In 2015, he graduated with a Bachelor of Economics degree from Wake Forest University. James gained fame when the show The Bachelorette as a reality TV star. James was chosen in the year 2020 to be the season's 25th bachelor on The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The season premiered in on the 20th of January in. James had the perfect look to play the role. He's beautiful and tall with a a good attitude. Rachael Krukconnell turned into James's love interest towards the conclusion of the season. In season 30 (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, he competed with the legendary dancing star Arnold.
