Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16, 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and popular comedians. The comedian has appeared featured on QI together as well as Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea was first able to make a name for herself as a stand-up comedian in 2011, following small parts she appeared in Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. From 2012 on she was on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. Following her win during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for different panel shows, where she has become a fixture. In 2016 and 2017 she served as a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she is the mother of one sister named Sinead. The only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea was given to her in memory of her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on the 16th of March, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian passed away when he was just three years old. He was a horse vet. Bea wasn't told the specifics of his passing to death until she was 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea in honor of her father who passed away. She also wrote a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's suicide experience. Bea was fostered by her younger sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, as well as a former professional racer. Their family was racing and horse-related. Bea began her career as tourist guides at the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her passion was for performing and not racing.
